2. Principle

Protecting your personal data is a central concern for us. This privacy policy tells you which data we collect, how we use it and what rights you have. Swiss data protection law applies (FADP, revised version in force since 1 September 2023).

• Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics 4 — Service integration and usage analytics (Google LLC, USA)
• Google Ads — Ad conversion tracking (Google LLC, USA)
• Meta Pixel — Conversion tracking and retargeting (Meta Platforms Inc., USA)
• Own server-side audience measurement — cookieless statistics (page views, country of origin, device type); IP addresses are stored only in hashed form (MARKTIX AG, Switzerland)
• OVHcloud — Email delivery for contact confirmations and newsletters (OVH SAS, France/EU)
• Calleebree — Call-centre platform for providing the call-back and advisory service (transmission of name, phone number, email and enquiry)
• Klaviyo — Processing of contact requests from lead forms on Meta platforms (Klaviyo Inc., USA)
• Hostinger — Website hosting incl. server log files (Hostinger International Ltd.)

Where data is transferred to the USA or other third countries, this is done on the basis of standard contractual clauses (SCC) in accordance with the FDPIC decision.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

• Necessary: Technical operation (e.g. a session identifier in sessionStorage, deleted when the browser is closed)
• Analytics: Usage analysis via Google Analytics 4
• Marketing: Conversion tracking and retargeting via Meta Pixel and Google Ads

6. Sharing data with providers

Personal data is passed to a provider only when the user completes that provider’s direct sign-up form and grants express authorisation. In that case MARKTIX AG transmits the data required for the contract (name, address, email, date of birth and any further provider details) to the chosen provider in encrypted form — solely for the purpose of concluding the contract.

All other data collected via the website — contact requests, call-back requests, non-binding offer enquiries and newsletter sign-ups — stays with MARKTIX AG and is not passed on to providers.

Any further use of this data by MARKTIX AG — in particular for marketing purposes — takes place only with separate consent.

7. Retention periods

• Analytics data (Google Analytics 4): 14 months (GA4 default)
• Server-side usage statistics: indefinitely, in pseudonymised form (hashed IP)
• Contact enquiries: indefinitely, until withdrawal or a deletion request by the person concerned
• Newsletter data: until unsubscription
• Contract data: 10 years (statutory retention obligation)
