6. Data Sharing upon Contract Conclusion
Personal data is only passed on to providers when the user actively triggers one of the following steps:
- Non-binding offer: Name, email and, if applicable, phone number are used solely to prepare and transmit the requested offer.
- Binding contract conclusion: Upon express confirmation and authorisation, MARKTIX AG transmits the data required for the contract (name, address, email, date of birth and any further provider-required information) to the respective provider in encrypted form — exclusively for the purpose of concluding the contract.
Any further use of this data by MARKTIX AG — in particular for marketing purposes — only takes place with the user's separate consent.
7. Retention Periods
- Analytics data: 14 months (GA4 default)
- Contact requests: 24 months after last contact
- Newsletter data: until unsubscription
- Reviews: until deleted by user or Operator
- Contract data: 10 years (statutory retention obligation)
